Wingecarribee Shire Council has developed a Youth Strategy to help plan better outcomes for young people living in the community.
In September 2015 we conducted a survey. Once we analysed the responses a Youth Forum was held to explore themes and topics which came directly from the survey.
A draft Youth Strategy was developed and publicly exhibited from 1/11/16 to 7/12/2016 with submissions identifying where improvements could be made.
Council will consider a
report which summarises community feedback and seeks final endorsement of the Youth Strategy on 14 December 2016.

We're hosting a forum which aims to:
- allow young people to express their opinions
- provide an opportunity for young people participate and identify priority issues
- strengthen existing partnerships between youth service providers
- develop links for support and referral
- gather info which will be used to advice the development of a Youth Strategy
Join us on 12 November 2015 between 9am and 2.45pm at Mittagong RSL Club. Check out the
