THIS CONSULTATION HAS NOW CONCLUDED. Council will consider submissions received prior to adopting final versions of the draft documents.

Have your say about the way we communicate with the local community and media outlets.

Like most local government authorities around Australia, rapidly evolving technology is transforming the way Wingecarribee Shire Council communicates with our community.

These changes bring both opportunities and risks for Council.

Currently on exhibition, our draft Communication Strategy shows how Council’s many forms of communication link together to achieve specific objectives. It identifies actions to improve consistency and ensure we are communicating and sharing information of highest priority to the community, while catering for the Shire’s diverse audience groups.

The overall aim of our Strategy is to manage the Wingecarribee Shire Council brand and ensure Council messages are communicated effectively, proactively and consistently.

It's now your turn to have a say. Please take a look at the draft Communications Strategy currently on exhibition until 14 July 2014.

There are a number of ways to let us know what you think or ask a question:

  1. Complete a feedback form (recorded but not view-able by the public)
  2. Share your thoughts publicly with others by writing in the suggestion box
  3. Use the 'Ask a Question' tab to do just that or read the answers we have already provided
  4. Complete a survey about our facebook page
  5. Write a letter and post it to WSC, PO Box 141, Moss Vale 2577 or drop it at the Civic Centre in Elizabeth Street, Moss Vale

For further information please email david.sommers@wsc.nsw.gov.au or give our Media and Communications Team a call on (02) 4868 0863.
